What you'll do

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental and center goals and objectives.
• Monitor patient care delivery and clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including state and federal regulations.

What you need

• Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.

The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the overall maintenance of medical records, to include ensuring each record is properly labeled, complete, organized, and controlled. Includes Release of Information, Patient Information Logs, Medicare Documentation, Death Reporting & Confidentiality.

Experience with medical records - to include 1-3 years of clinical experience in an office setting - is required. Applicant must possess above average communication skills, the ability to follow directions and type at least 40 wpm, excellent organizational skills, and high emotional intelligence. Must exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently.

As a MDS Coordinator your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every patient has an accurate minimum data set (MDS) assessment and work closely with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive plans of care after reviewing the patient’s medical record and communicating with direct care staff, the patient’s physician, and family. What you'll do
